The Lakes Marina Project is much more than simply providing berthing for watercraft. It’s an ecosystem designed to bring accessibility to the lake in a safe and practical manner. The Marina encourages an alternate mode of transportation, while servicing the local as well as the tourism and adventure industries.
MARINA FACILITIES
Queenstown Marina is a full service, world class Marina. Located on the shores of New Zealand’s scenic Lake Wakatipu, it offers a full range of services to cater to every need. The Marina accommodates both long term and short term users.
MARINA RULES
The following Rules have been established by Lakes Marina Projects Ltd (LMP) to provide for efficient and harmonious operation of Queenstown Marina as well as for the safety and enjoyment of the Berth Holders and Visitors to the Marina.
PRIVATE BERTHING
Single, full service berths with power, water, Wi-Fi are available for boat sizes from 8m to 18m lengths.
COMMERCIAL BERTHING
Select berths are available for use by commercial operators. These can be leased stand alone or in conjunction with commercial buildings.
TRANSIENT BERTHING
Short term and day boaters can moor their vessels and use Marina services on daily or weekly rates.
FUEL SERVICE
A fuelling service is available at fuel pumps located on the breakwater. Both Diesel and Petrol are available by use of a self service pump. Marina users can use either side of the breakwater to fuel. The General Public may fuel their vessels on the outside of the floating attenuator.
PUMP OUT SERVICE
A sewage pump out will be located adjacent to the fuel pumps.
MARINA SERVICES
A wide spectrum of marine related and Marina services including food and beverage will also be provided, either by Marina Management or by Independent Vendors.
PRIVATE CLUB
Private VIP facility is available by membership. Club facilities are located on the water and feature full services with additional food and beverage service available from Independent Vendors. The Club can be used for meetings, gatherings, and private functions. Advance reservations are required.
VALET SERVICE
Valet Cleaning and maintaining services can be provided at an additional charge to ensure users can keep their vessels well maintained and ready to go.
SECURITY
Public areas of the Marina will be open to the General Public during normal business hours. The entire Marina facility is under video surveillance and access to berths strictly controlled via an access control system. The parking facilities are also access controlled.
VEHICLE PARKING
A secure parking facility used by both Marina clients and the General Public is conveniently situated in close proximity to the Marina.
